In 1997, Valley Park opened its doors as a dedicated prepack cooked meat production facility, with the objective of improving product quality within this category; 25 years later, the Cranswick Convenience Foods teams are celebrating their milestone silver anniversary at the site.
To mark the occasion, colleagues were invited to attend a 25th Anniversary event, where they had the opportunity to discover the site’s history and sample delicious products from across their range, whilst looking forward to the next step in the Valley Park journey.
Based in the Dearne Valley in South Yorkshire, an area that was previously synonymous with coal mining, Valley Park has provided an opportunity for stable and continuous employment for the local community for a quarter of a century. Today the site employs over 1,190 people, with almost 300 of those having over 10 years’ service.
