On World Environment Day 2018, we joined forces with Canary Wharf to deliver a unique cross-sector debate with a committee of experts and industry leaders at the forefront of the single-use plastic debate. The panel aims to debunk the myths and re-wire the debate to influence change through collaboration and action.
Our Group Commercial Director, Jim Brisby sat on the panel alongside Fiona Ball of Sky Ocean Rescue, Tor Harris of Waitrose, Hugo Tagholm of Surfers Against Sewage, Jim Nuttall of Pentatonic, Lugano Kapembwa of Canary Wharf, Lubna Edwards of Klöckner Pentaplast and Marianne Matthews of Sky Ocean Rescue.
“We need the circular economy to become a reality. It’s all very well talking about ideas and solutions, but the time to act is now,” said Jim Brisby. Read about the ‘Breaking the Plastic Habit’ Panel Debate here.
