Meat Business Women Welcomes Royalty At Their Recent Conference

The Meat Business Women conference took place earlier this week on Tuesday 14th May at Painters Hall, London to a sell out audience of over 180 delegates.

Cranswick's Technical Director, Jackie Carter is a member of the Meat Business Women Committee, helping to develop the image, culture and landscape of the meat industry to make it more attractive to female talent. They address these aims by hosting two networking events each year, whereby the recent conference held in London was a huge success.

Attendees heard from industry royalty, American Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, Temple Grandin, who had flown in from the US specially to address the event and spoke to the audience about the different roles women play within the meat industry and how to address those challenges on a daily basis.
