Cranswick has won the Training Scheme of the Year award at the Meat Management Awards, recognising the success of the Graduate Training Scheme. The scheme has been running in it’s current form since March 2015 and has been designed to offer graduates a full overview of the Cranswick business.
Miranda Walker, HR Director, commented “this is a fantastic achievement for Cranswick and truly shows our hard work, dedication and commitment to attracting talented graduates into our business.”
Neil Woodcock, Group Learning and Development Manager explained the purpose of the Graduate Training Scheme. “We aim to create managers of the future by offering young people the opportunity to come and work for a leading food manufacturer across various functions including production, new product development, sales, marketing, finance, engineering, HR and Technical. This allows our Graduates to choose a career path that is most suited to them and to gain the relevant experience in order for them to succeed.”
