Cranswick has been recognised for its leading approach to sustainability at this year’s Made in Yorkshire Awards. The event, which was held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Thursday 20th April, is organised by Insider Media with the aim of celebrating successful companies based in Yorkshire and the Humber region.
It was announced at the awards, “Cranswick was said to go the extra mile on environmental management systems in an industry which has a huge footprint on green issues. Each site reports to the board to maintain maximum environmental efficiency performance and the company shares its knowledge with its supply chain to extend shelf life and consumer usability.”
Cranswick beat out competition from Fabrikk, Numill Tooling Solutions and Bag It Don’t Bin It. The win will now see Cranswick progress to the finals in the nation-wide Made in UK Awards which will take place in Liverpool on Thursday 22nd June.
