This year’s Humber Bridge Sportive, of which Cranswick were Principal Partners, saw 750 cyclists cycle to raise money for The Ellie Penrose Fund.
The Cranswick team geared up for the sell-out event on Saturday 18th June which has raised over £20,000 for the charity. The event, now in its fourth year, offered riders a choice of either 22 mile, 42 mile or 62 miles route which commenced alongside Family Fun Day celebrations at Hesslewood Hall for family and friends.
Cranswick team member, Mary Banks, who successfully completed the 42 mile-route said: “It was a fantastic day for a bike ride. A lovely route for all levels and despite the heat spirits were high! Overall it was a wonderful event for a very worthwhile cause. I am looking forward to next year!”
The charity, now in its fourth year, provides support for young people keen to compete in sports.
