Cranswick ran their first IT apprenticeship forum yesterday at the Cranswick Country Foods site at Preston, Hull. Hosted by Katy, Group Learning and Development Manager, Declan, Head of IT Operations and Projects, and Jon, Divisional IT Operations Manager.
At the event, we welcomed 10 IT apprentices from across the group; it was an excellent opportunity for networking and to share experiences of the job role and qualification so far. During the visit, the apprentices also had a factory tour of the site, and a talk from Darren, Operations Director, who offered his advice and guidance to the group.
It was a fantastic session which will now be hosted quarterly to enhance their apprenticeship experience and ensure they are all on track to complete their qualifications.
