Cranswick attended the 147th Driffield Show with an inviting and educational stand, welcoming visitors of all ages to learn more about one of the UK’s largest food producers.
The show is an annual event and one of the country’s largest one-day agricultural shows, welcoming over 25,000 visitors from around the area for an exciting family day out.
Teams from Wold Farms and White Rose Farms welcomed guests to the stand, including many of our local farmers, to thank them for all their hard work and enjoy some proper Cranswick hospitality. Cranswick chefs were on hand to serve up some delicious dishes showcasing Cranswick products, starting with Bacon Sandwiches for breakfast, followed by a lunch platter of Hog Roast Sausage Rolls with Crackling Crumb, Sticky Pork Ribs, Crispy Chicken nuggets and, the crowd favourite, Pulled Pork pancakes.
The Cranswick stand was in prime position on one of the main avenues, ensuring it was buzzing with visitors throughout the day and there were plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, with games for children to learn about different pork products and where their favourite foods come from.
Not only did the stand prove a hit with visitors, Cranswick was awarded the second place rosette in the best tradestand competition, with a special mention given to the informative and educational nature of the stand, alongside a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
