A big well done to our Milton Keynes colleagues, who are taking extra steps to fight hunger and support their local community. They were already working with MK Food Bank before the crisis, and have since upped their community support with weekly emergency food (150 packs of sliced cooked meats) and further funding for three local charities. This helps the charities purchase much-needed food items to support the vulnerable:
TLG Make Lunch: With schools shut, TLG is supporting children who were already struggling
MK Food Bank: Provides emergency food services to those in need
The Frank Moran Centre: Operating an extended Foodbank Service, for over 55s and the vulnerable who are isolating.
Just to say a public well done to everyone involved. Amazing work Milton Keynes, thank you.
