This award recognises the Ballymena team’s efforts in producing the highest quality British pork, maintaining technological excellence, ensuring employee wellbeing, and reaching industry leading animal welfare standards. Their commitment to reducing carbon emissions has allowed them to become the first Northern Irish agri-food manufacturer to be awarded the PAS 2060 Carbon Neutral certification, pioneering sustainable farming efforts in the country.
