Cranswick Country Foods Ballymena were proud to be associated with the Farming Life Awards 2019.
Ballymena entered the Commitment to Training Award and won the accolade during the awards held at the La Mon House Hotel in Belfast on October 24th 2019.
The award is given to an individual or company that can demonstrate their understanding of the importance of training and the subsequent impact of this on their job/workforce.
At Cranswick, we want to see every employee recognised and work to achieve their potential by understanding the career pathways and training support provided to build their career within our business. Ballymena have built strong winning partnerships with training providers including: North Regional College who deliver the Engineering Apprenticeship programme, CAFRE who deliver the NVQ in Meat Proficiency for Butchery Apprenticeships and they have also worked with us to design the Higher Level Apprenticeship for Technical which we will launch again in Spring 2020.
Johanna Donaghy Training manager said after receiving the award "it is recognition of the whole site team, thank you for your unfailing belief that makes what myself, Trevor and the team do in training possible".
Congratulations to the team in Ballymena.
