There are no shortcuts when it comes to making the best pastry, and certainly no shortcuts when it came to celebrating Gourmet Pastry’s carbon neutral accreditation recently.
The team recently held a fun and interactive two day event to celebrate how working together gets us further, bringing everything in under one umbrella called “Be More Yorkshire Baker.”
From health and safety, mental wellbeing to training and fully understanding the sites Carbon Neutral status, colleagues were given tools and incentives to move forward on their net zero journey. Andy Mayer, Site Director said, “It now feels like we are set up for the future, and that everyone is committed to this exciting journey."
